I finally arrived in my city, Changzhou. It only took an
hour bus ride and a one and a half hour train ride. I was picked up by two of
the schools teachers, we went straight to the school to check it out and take a
break. Once the break was over we met up with an agent to help us find me an
apartment. I was shown four apartments and chose the first one I saw. It’s on
the 20th floor. I don’t think I’ve ever been that high in a building
before and now I am living in one. I was
able to move in the same day after the paperwork and meeting the landlord. It’s
a cute little place it’s kind of like a studio apartment back home. I’m all
unpacked and excited to starting working on Monday. :-D
***Two things I learned so far being here: I suck at using
chop sticks and need to practice a lot and I need to learn Chinese ASAP. :-D
Your place looks great!!! I am so excited for you!
