Jade Museum and Dr. Tea

During our Great Wall and Summer palace tour we went to a Jade museum and a tea house in Beijing. They both were really interesting. We learned that Jade is the Diamond of China. Its like Diamonds to people in the U.S. The sculptures were so detailed it was pretty amazing how detailed they really were. We also learned that real Jade is transparent and you can see inside it. The Dr. Tea was very interesting as well. We were able to taste a few different types of tea. The people also taught us the proper way to hold the tiny tea cups and how to drink it. It is actually a good thing to slurp some teas. Such a great time and learning experience.
